Mindful food is about cultivating an open-minded awareness of how the food we choose to eat affects one's body, feelings, mind, and all that is around us. Food is our source of energy and nutrition but what kind of food we eat is the most important factor.
Food that is mindful is inherently eaten and cooked with care but most importantly created with same love and thought. Organic fruit and vegetables have fewer synthetic pesticides, fertilizers and are free of hormones and antibiotics, so why eat anything else. Today we chat to the Owner and farm Manager at Second Nature Organics in Narangba and get their take on mindful food.
